History

A Rivtech creation, the Streetfighter is a combat bike designed for recon and support purposes. To help riders get out of the line of fire promptly it was outfitted with some state of the art booster technology that propels the bike to insane speeds when employed. Soon it became apparent the Base armaments combined with some fast maneuvering allowed these things to do actual damage to enemy mecha in the hands of some crazy bikers who could manage the speed and avoid being shot at. A variety of munitions were made for this bike and it's been pressed for mass combat production for those who want an agile alternative to heavy armor.

Description

With next to no armor and an a speed booster that can shoot it to crazy levels of speed this is most definitely a hit and run bike. It doesn't take a beating well, but it has the highest ground speeds of any mech, allowing a rider to dart from cover to cover easily and stay well ahead of pursuing enemies.

It comes with a lot of hardmount options that can be swapped for the arms and spine, making it a rather versatile hardlocked vehicle.

Tactics

Do not try to trade blows, use that speed booster liberally to keep on the move and keep agile. Never linger, never make yourself a target, a single strong salvo can end you. Use the speed to your advantage.

A lot of the magic in this bike is not just the speed but the sheer amount of options for a hardlocked. Mix and match your loadout to meet the needs. The diomedes will knock airborne mechs out real fast but can be a bit lackluster against ground targets on the move. The Ajax rockets have large splash radii that can hit an surprisingly broad area, like the hail clusters. Use those against ground targets, particularly slow ground pounders with hit and run tactics, you won't need much accuracy if you aim for the feet, they aren't so hot vs air. The philoctetes can perform decently like any autocannon in a variety of situations.

The spine mounts offer support capabilities mostly mines. The Nestor keeps people from following you through tight areas. The Achilles have a very small area of effect, but can take a leg. The Napalm mines got a much larger area of effect of the Achilles, and while they don't take a leg their over-heating ability can knock the wind out of enemy sails. And the Guided Autocannon, while weak, lets you keep a constant stream of fire on your enemy while moving and dodging regardless of where you are looking once you establish a lock.
