The Aeronaught light hover was built as a long ranged low cost hover / aerial combat mech with suitable thrust control systems to allow it to give it ideal ground speed an air control over other air combat hover mechs. Though unlike many other hover types the Aeronaught's main focus was on long ranged precision sniping using its dual shock beam lasers, which gave it a effective 100m strike distance against air and land targets as it maneuvers over the battlefield. Its [[Strife Jet]] system allows it to outmaneuver most aerial based hover mechs as well as helping the aeronaught in urban warfare or close quarters combat.
