Of all the mine options for this vehicle.  The Achilles has the smallest sensor range and the smallest area of effect, but it is by far the most punishing, it will strip a leg that steps on it of its leg and remove it's ability to move.    The mine only arms after it's fully settled from deploy.  If dropped on stairs or an incline it may tumble down them first before it fully settles in.

When faced with these mines remember that there's a slight delay with a beep before it explodes.  If you are fast enough you can blitz over these mines and trigger them and escape the after effects.  A solid enough projectile might actually trigger the mine's sensors and cause it to fire.

When using high-gear(running) or using the Street Fighter's turbo charger the mine when laid can also travel a distance before coming to a stop and activating. this is of particular use if in Iceus or old city due to the long straightaways you could use to slingshot the mine into position instead of traveling the entire length of the street.
