observations

when on the Taneri jump ship Tote may be found working as general editor for the GNN station as local celebrity and holo-jocky. free-lance weapons testing, or possibly waiting for job opportunity for combat.
he will be quite approachable and see everyone as a friendly face and is one to immediately welcome anyone and everyone he meets. This is a false face as he is normal to first to observe and dissect a persons intent and motives near him. If one can get in on his good side, they will find a old soul mindset, and a loyal, if not antagonistic friendly face in truth, he has little tolerance for trolling behavior if he is not part of the prank.

This pilot can not be fully trusted on the field, in one moment he may back you up as a surprise support against a random opponent. or try to capitalize on the general confusion of the battle at hand, pilots who chose to request assistance form this pilot be warned, unless it is specifically stated that his help is requested or by his own word to assist, any allied actions are to be taken at face value.

Tote's selection of mechs and gear are to wide and varied to account for due to this nature as a wild card, as he is not predictable for any particular 'Mech though after an observation over time three choices do stand out as his favorites.

Commonly used 'Mech's

"Shiela"

Chassis Frame&Equipment:

'Mech: Sentinel mk.1
Equipment:

shiela notes

The Sentinel mech known as shiela is Tote's Go-to 'Mech for general purpose, free for all combat. using the basic mk1 model of the sentinel that did not originally come with the Sentinel shield system. This was Totes first Pick of mechs and has been his favorite since before he had acquired it, back in meter 7.x, when the original v.a.r.s. Bullets were too big to be effective against anything but wide open area's akin to anomaly b-235 since its various upgrades/updates to current the sentinel under his piloting still serves as a wall of pain for anyone in his field of view, as constant use and practice with it's long and medium range. Due to his observance of the original build, he chooses to forgo the use of the sentinel shield attachment
capability of note:

  • Tote Has mastered the ability to block all incoming missile types and Bio-wasp ordinance while engaging targets.
  • Tote can accurately target 'Mechs with the vars cannons at cross filed range of 300M or greater.

known modifications:

adjusted exhaust pipes from the main turret body and "turn signal" lamps on the back as well as "C.O.B.R.A." group insignia on the mid hip mudflaps in addition to custom fitted armor panels for the paint job.

"Search-Man"

Chassis Frame&Equipment:

'Mech: ruke mk.4
Equipment:

Search-Man Notes

Totes Independently modified Ruke is a true labor of love to the Discounted "Scrapper" 'Mech's in the MCM 'Mech shop, one of the first purchases Tote has acquired in his tenure in MCM, and has thus become intimately familiar with the weaknesses and strengths of using the cloaking systems and all 'Mech's equipped with both tech and bio variants, while the cloaking mechanic is flawed, he does consider it a valuable and underused utility in MCM.
capability of note:

  • with the use of anti bio spray canisters, Tote has created an interesting tactic to blind opponents to his presence in 2 ways, firstly by approaching in stealth and then launching the canisters to further obscure vision while he pelts people in the cloud with the heavy sniper cannon and Gatling Laser Cannon, mind that it mainly works on slow ground based tanks and non jump capable mechs however the added benifit of the anti bio spray is that bio mechs and tech mechs with regeneration feats are also negated, when in the bio spray field. and allowing the conservation of cloak energy when in the bio spray cloud

known modifications:

  • Trimmed down prim count of equipment to facilitate easier stealth conversion & Mesh hip.
  • Removal of all glowing prims and avatar hider prims since the introduction of alpha layers.
  • paint job American green forest camouflage with yellow hazard stripe armor paneling.

Tactical Nook

Chassis Frame&Equipment:

'Mech: Adv inf guy
Equipment:

Tactical Nook Notes

  • Damn hard to hit with direct fire weapons, recommend splash damage panzer, auto-cannon, srm/streak srm gause and ppc to hit effectively.
  • Tote Has been known to take down assault class 'Mech's with just this on his own.
  • During an "infantry guy vs boss" 'Mech fight Tote did 47% of total damage to the boss having quote- "suffering from spine damage after having the carry the team"

known modifications:

  • Full reconfiguration using a Mesh micro avatar in conjunction with scale appropriate scifi battle armor for fluid movement animations instead of the block-stiff leg movements of the stock infantry guy and custom made leg and spine mounted reload ammo pods. costume design reminiscent of the C.O.B.R.A. operative known as "metal head"
