The Glide Wing passively improves your mech's ability to stay in the air.
Use
When equipped and activated, the glide wing will increase your mech's buoyancy rating, causing you to stay in the air longer and fall in a less harsh fashion.
Other Notes
This occupies the same slot as omni-mounted jumpjets. Some Strife Jets equip on the stomach, making this a wonderful utility to mount on any mech with a stomach-attached strife jet. You will have a far easier time staying in the air with one equipped. There are a few mechs with a jumpjet that hard-mounts to a non-spinal slot. For those mechs, the Glide Wing is an excellent addition as well if you intend on using the jumpjet liberally.
Use a gesture to bind /1arm spine to a key. Use that key to quickly toggle your Glide wing, allowing for faster descent when needed and also allowing for easier control during ground-fighting as you will be less likely to pop into the air when running over bumps.
