This is a variation of the Gatling Gun for use as a hardmount on several mechs.
History
When Dr. Gatling invented the gatling gun mid 19th century AD he likely never imagined his gun would continue to see service mounted on giant robots of war. The gun's been an ancient concept that has been rehashed and reused many times over, it gets the job done of throwing a lot of lead lead into the air in a constant stream. While many mech pilots will go for a gun with better stopping power, the gatling gun does see use on pilots who need a weapon with a low foot print and load heat yield. A number of mechs have these guns specially designed into their chassis to add a little extra firepower.
Use
The gatling is a continous fire weapon. As long as you hold down the trigger it will continue to fire shots whenever it is able.
Other Notes
On a default configuration Conscript this gun will often cause your bullets to collide with the shells, causing premature explosions in your face that will damage your mech. Either rearrange your gun layout, or remove these for some pec mounted heatsinks.
