The Strife Jet is a movement Utility that allows a mech to get around quickly.
Use
To use a strife jet press crouch. It will propel you wherever you are facing. A Strife Jet can get you airborne just aim upwards.
Other Notes
It's more fuel efficient to jump and fly, but you move slower. Taking off from the ground without jumping or after dropping off a ledge will get you to absurd speeds, but it'll be harder and more fuel costly to stay aloft. This is due to a quirk in SL's fall physics.
A very good upgrade for ANY strife jet mech are Glide Wings. Those will make your mech more inclined to stay airborne and make it far easier to glide around and rain death from above.
