The autocannon or AC is an iconic piece of hardware in mech combat that focuses on rapid fire abuse.
History
The autocannon has always been a solid staple of mech warfare. It's a gun designed to quickly and repeatedly fire a barrage of shells at the target. Generally speaking most ACs fire aromr piercing explosive rounds that do a great deal of damage to anything on the recieving end. Low footprint and heat are always a winner with this armament, the only thing pilots need to watch out for is their ammo gauge and using this weapon in close quarters.
Use
The AC is a continous fire weapon. Hold down the trigger and it will fire bursts of four shots whenever it is capable of doing so.
