The howitzer is a ballistic weapon that comes loaded with the conscript capable of launching a fair amount of abuse at an earth-bound target.
History
There is no historical data on file for the Howitzer Cannon.
Use
The Howitzer cannon may be fired like any regular armament. It is single shot non-auto-firing and its projectiles have a ballistic arch. On impact with the targer or terrain the shots explode dealing damage to everything around.
Other Notes
These guns have a more shallow arc then the mortars on the Conscript and for more firing angles they'll get more range then the other two guns sets. If you are using these weapons together, there's a butter zone where if you fire at the ground, all four projectiles from the two gun sets will contact the ground together, creating a tight cluster of explosions that will deal a fair amount of damage to any mechs caught within it.
