The Dynamic Accelerated Actuator Control or DAAC is a device that allows a mech to move much faster.
Use
To use a DAAC, equip it and activate it. It passively increases your speed while active and takes up no fuel. The only caveat is it only works on medium or smaller mechs.
Other Notes
If you have the perk hybrid splurge you may equip a DAAC on bio-mechs of any size. So you could put a DAAC on a Blattaria to have a high speed heavy mech.
