In mcm there are a multitude of mechs that behave differently from each other they are classed as follows;
Hover
Tread
Warp
Ground
Strafe
Hover
Commonly referred to as "flying" mechs, hover mechs can either fly indefinitely or for extended periods of time. Although they can float and "fall with style" Most come with a jumpjet to allow greater mobility.
DO'S Common tactics for hovers are to "kite" their enemies by moving in hard to read patterns in the sky, they also excel greatly at bombing runs and hit and run tactics Try to fly between buildings to lose aggressors and peel off any missile locks Avoid hard objects and drop repair/ammo drops for your more heavy buddies on the ground
DON'TS Never follow an enemy in a straight line as it makes your path predictable Never follow an enemy into a tightly closed area with determined areas of escape(tunnels)
Tread
Tread mechs come in many sizes and shapes and are typically found in the heavier weight classes. Tread mechs Differ from ground mechs in two large ways
They are severely disadvantaged at jumping as it gives them enormous heat gains They typically have a faster ground speed and run enabled
