The vert drive is a eclypse mobility enhancement. That functions like a JumpJet
Use
To use a vert drive have it mounted and active. Press jump to ascend a short distance, tap it to fly upward rapidly, and release it to descend. Each burst of upward momentum consumes fuel and it regenerates fuel when not in use.
Other Notes
As with the jumpjet, dropping off a ledge and then using this allows you to achieve high speeds at the cost of lift.
