The mammoth is a heavy duty assault mech brimming with weapons.

History

The mammoth is the result of an race between Pintek Industries and CF Foundry. Both were vying for a government contract to build a big bad assault mech brimming with guns. Whoever could deliver a working product first would win the contract. The end result was the Mammoth, while CF Foundry floundered with actuator control Pintek Industries delivered. The end chassis was so large it required specialized legs with extra stabilizers built into them in them to keep it upright since the load was a tad top heavy. The sheer amount of offensive power and armor stacked on the chassis impressed the clients so much it secured Pintek Industries a generous contract.

Description

The Mammoth is a massive bulky heap of gun and armor. It's stabilizers on the legs leave it looking like it's squatting perpetually. The arms mount a pair of AMM's or a pair of assault lasers, it has in the main chassis slag cannons, machine guns, and other fun surprises. The default package is customizeable without having to outsource leaving Mammoth pilots with a few options out of the box.

Tactics

The Mammoth is a big heap of gun and armor. It doesn't move fast, it unloads a heap of pain instead. When loading Mammoth up focus on getting as much firepower as you can manage on it while balancing for heat load. Shock and awe are your friends, hit hard and fast, knocking your opponent down before they can recover.
