The Heavy Anti Matter cannon is a dual shot energy weapon.

History

Using concepts of physics that are poorly understood even now, the Heavy Anti Matter Cannon is a weapon capable of great destruction. Using magnetics and other more mad science this gun fires a a small packet of anti-matter at absurd velocities. The initial shot is near instantaneous well known for its pale blue color. Anything struck by the shot will have its matter partially nullified, producing substantially more energy doing a fair amount of damage. A split second later an anti-matter energy shockwave is produced which fires out of the barrel, causing secondary damage to anything in its wake. This effectively gives a mech pilot two attacks for a single trigger pull.

Use

The HAMC is fired like most weapons. The initial laser attack is fired the instant the trigger is pulled. A split second later a projectile attack is fired.

Other Notes

This thing will overheat your mech real fast, it's capable of pretty reasonable damage if you hit both attacks. It's essentially a laser with a little extra oomph thrown in with the secondary shot.
